Profile
I design, develop and automate software solutions, internal applications and IT infrastructure. I combine software engineering, systems integration and infrastructure automation to remove manual processes, connect existing systems and build reliable technical solutions.
Approximately eight years of professional automation experience and six years in MSP environments. I take responsibility from requirements and implementation through deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting.
Professional experience
Automation Engineer, PwC Netherlands
2024 to present. Progressed from Associate 1 to Associate 2.
- Designed and developed production applications with Python, FastAPI, React and Next.js.
- Built REST APIs, data-processing services and integrations with Azure and enterprise systems.
- Developed PowerShell and Python automation, employee onboarding and account provisioning workflows supporting an environment of more than 6,000 people.
- Built reporting and insights tooling combining Azure and ServiceNow data.
- Worked with Docker deployments, Git, code reviews and CI/CD. Translated stakeholder requirements into software and supported deployed solutions.
- Mentored two engineers across backend and frontend development.
Platform / Automation Engineer, Tredion
2017 to 2024. MSP environment.
- Built PowerShell and Python scripts, REST API integrations, Azure Functions and Automation Runbooks.
- Worked with Azure, Datto RMM, Veeam and IT Glue.
- Connected internal and external systems and supported customers using the tools I built.
- Maintained and improved the Veeam Cloud Connect environment.
Technical capabilities
- Software engineering: Python, FastAPI, REST APIs, React, Next.js, TypeScript, backend development and data processing.
- Automation and integrations: PowerShell, Python, Microsoft Graph, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure Automation and ServiceNow integrations.
- Infrastructure and operations: Azure, Docker, CI/CD, Linux, Docker Compose, Proxmox and Ansible. Terraform is exploratory. Kubernetes experience is limited.

Personal infrastructure experience
More than ten years of personal experience with Linux, networking and self-hosted infrastructure across multiple distributions. I run a homelab with Proxmox, Docker and Docker Compose and have experience with Ansible configuration and automation. I explore Terraform through personal projects.
