Personal infrastructure

Personal infrastructure and automation

A self-hosted environment for hands-on Linux, containers, virtualisation and configuration work.

Problem

Running personal services provides a practical environment to understand deployment, networking, configuration and troubleshooting beyond application code.

Technical approach

I run a homelab with Proxmox, Linux, Docker and Docker Compose. My personal background includes more than ten years with Linux, networking and self-hosted infrastructure, and experience using Ansible for configuration and automation.

Experience boundaries

Terraform is exploratory work through personal projects, not a claimed enterprise deployment. My Kubernetes experience is limited. This page describes personal infrastructure, separately from my commercial Azure, Docker and CI/CD work.

Project material

A public infrastructure repository, screenshots and a sanitised architecture diagram have not been provided. Those details remain to be documented; this page does not imply a particular cluster topology, availability level or production operating scale.
